Change in Plans

Hello wonderful friends and family! You may have heard through the grape vine already, but I only have two weeks left in Ireland!

No, I'm not coming home early. Beth and I decided that instead of paying for another month's rent, we would take that money and use it to travel during our last three weeks. Then we will return to Dublin and fly home on December 20th as originally planned!

Exciting, no? Although I must say I'll be sad to leave Galway. It's been such a great city to call home these past three months. But I'm so thrilled to see some new places! Beth and I fly to Paris on December 3rd, then we'll be off to Angers to visit our friend Whitney, to Bordeaux to visit my au pair Emmanuelle, then to Barcelona, Valencia, and Sevilla! That's right, I'm going to Spain! I'm hoping the weather will be drier than it has been over here in Ireland. It's positively soggy out there.

Well, that's the new plan! Now that my time in Ireland is being cut short, I'm desperately trying to fit in all those things I've been meaning to do while I'm here. Wish my luck on my long list! Last weekend, I checked off a visit to Cork and Kinsale and will post a blog about it soon. I had my last day of work at the Seafood Company on Tuesday and will have my last few days at the Nut Hut this weekend. Betsy arrives on Saturday and will be here for the week of Thanksgiving and I'm so excited to show her around!
